Whoever operates it is hidden behind an Icelandic whois-privacy service, and that anonymity is not a footnote; it is the review.

What is EscortHub actually?

On paper: an international escort directory at escorthub.org, built on WordPress (the login page and generator links are plainly visible), with sections for escorts, agencies, tours and classified ads, plus country pages from Afghanistan to Ukraine. The domain was registered on 14 June 2019 through NameCheap.

In practice, the details tell you what kind of operation this is. The menu button is labelled in Russian (“Открыть меню”) on an otherwise English site. The country dropdown includes “Demo Country” — a developer artifact nobody cleaned up. The navigation carries links straight into ad networks (“Live SEX”, “Meet&Fuck”), and the footer sells text links to casino sites, including a Dutch one. While we tested, the homepage’s “newly added” row included profiles in Finland openly advertising cocaine and weed alongside the escort listings.

Our opinion, reason attached: EscortHub is not a marketplace with weak moderation — it is a traffic business wearing a directory costume. Every observable choice, from the redirect scripts to the casino links, points to a site optimised to monetise your visit, not to connect you with a real advertiser.

Who runs EscortHub?

Nobody will tell you, and we tried. The ICANN whois record names “Withheld for Privacy ehf”, a Reykjavik privacy proxy, as registrant. The contact page is a bare web form — no company name, no address, no jurisdiction, no terms that identify a legal entity. Compare that with the platforms we score well: Kinky.nl is a known Dutch company, Tryst names its Australian operator on its own FAQ page.

For a category where you may be handing over your phone number and planning to meet a stranger, an operator that cannot be identified or held to account is a scored finding, not a neutral fact. It caps moderation at 1.

How good is the verification?

None observed: a 1. Registration is open self-service, no verification badge or published check exists anywhere we could find, and the Dutch listings carry the classic marks of an unmoderated feed: names containing Telegram handles (“Available only on Telegram”), Cyrillic profile names on Dutch listings, and the same name — “Martina” — listed simultaneously in Maastricht, Den Haag and Utrecht. Den Haag itself appears in the city list as “La haye”, a spelling no Dutch operator would produce.

How is the mobile experience?

A generic WordPress theme that technically works on a phone: a 4. Cards scale, menus collapse. But the experience is booby-trapped — tapping around the Netherlands section repeatedly threw us onto other sites entirely, and once into a phone-payment paywall at €1 per minute. A mobile site you cannot stay on does not deserve a passing grade.

How fast is the site?

Slow and unstable: a 3. Without a full browser the site serves a Cloudflare 403; with one, the Netherlands page weighs over 600 KB of HTML before images and includes the redirect scripts that ended two of our sessions on other domains. The speed that matters — time until you can actually browse listings — is unmeasurable when the page keeps leaving.

How transparent is pricing?

Barely: a 2. Dutch listing cards show no rates at all. Nearly every NL card is tagged “PREMIUM”, and “FEATURED” and “NEW” tiers visibly exist, but we found no published price list for advertisers either. What a booking costs, what an ad costs, who is paying whom — none of it is stated. The one price we did encounter was the €24.95-per-14-days paywall of a different site EscortHub redirected us to.
